Wild Child

From Goodreads:

Zoë Underwood loved Matt Cantrell from the moment her mother married his father. She definitely thinks of him as more than a big brother and even though he moved away from home the moment their parents got married, her feelings for him have grown stronger, bigger. More. No one presses her buttons like the tall, dark and gorgeous Matt. If only he can get over the eight-year age difference.

Now, Zoë is determined to snare her man. She wants one thing—Matt’s love. It’s time for her to make a move, stir things up a little and take a chance on love.

My Review:

This is a Hot Read for a Lazy afternoon, As a cheap erotic novella it is nicely priced on Amazon.  The reason for the two stars is that I thought the story would elaborate a bit more on Zoe and Matt’s emotions in dealing with being in love with a step sibling. I really enjoy being able to step inside a characters head and feel their emotions.  The story was a bit heavy in the sex department and not enough emotions or story line.

Being a short story It is enough to relax and unwind after a busy day with a glass of wine. I did appreciate the prelude explaining the back story of Matt and Zoe, you don’t usually get that with a stand alone novella, but it should not be relied upon for the whole story line.

I would recommend this story as a relaxing short read to end your day.  If you are after a story to engage your emotions this one is not for you.
